TY Mini Company 'Bandaí'
4th Years Donate to Pieta House
Pieta House Donation
The mini company module consisted of a group called ‘Bandaí’ which generously donated the profits of their company to charity. Members of the company include Mark Kelliher, Jack Mc Lean, Conor Meade and Rian Hogan.
This mini company sold silcone wristbands saying ‘Pieta House’ the charity which offer support to people at risk or affected by suicide.
The students sold the wristbands to students and staff of CBS and at the mini company trade fair at Douglas Village Shopping Centre. The pupils sold all the bands and made €180. The pupils generously donated all the money to the Pieta House charity.
The first Pieta House in Cork has opened recently in Bishoptown and the pupils hope to further fundraise for this charity in the future. Well done to the students involved!
